Upper Elementary Sample Daily Schedule

8:30- 8:45: Moment of Silence

8:45-9:15: Introduce Spelling topic of the week (-tion) and individualized lists and review similar words

9:15- 9:45: Blue math group and individualized project work

9:45- 10:00: Student led P.E. process

10:00-10:30: P.E.

10:30-10:45: Snack and teacher read aloud

10:45- 11:15: Spanish

11:15-11:30: Review project expectations and individual progress

11:30- 12:30: Lunch and recess

12:30-1:00: Yellow math group and individualized project work

1:00- 2:00: Science experiments

2:00- 2:30: Partner reading

2:30-2:45: Review MLA formatting for bibliography- start individual bibliography for project

2:45-3:00: Record homework in student planner, gather materials for homework, do classroom job, and be ready for dismissal
